Softick Audio Gateway Audio streaming solution for Palm OS handhelds. Allows to connect Palm OS handheld to the Bluetooth stereo headphones and listen to digital audio played by any Palm OS applications including multimedia players, audio book readers, games. Audio streaming directly from the speaker of Palm OS handheld to the stereo headphones. Captures audio from Palm OS audio subsystem and redirects it to Bluetooth A2DP device: ￭ Stereo headphones or stereo headsets ￭ Desktop PC with a2dp drivers installed ￭ A2DP Speakers. Procedure Device Discoverable Sends discovery request to the Bluetooth dongle. Optionally the driver will turn on the Bluetooth hardware. Once the discovery request is answered, the device name of the Bluetooth dongle will be returned by the gateway. Connection Establishes a connection between the Palm OS handheld and the Bluetooth dongle. Audio Streaming Captures digital audio from Palm OS audio subsystem and redirects it to the Bluetooth stereo headphones. Connect and disconnect Canceling the audio streaming makes the connection with the Bluetooth stereo headphones unsignaled (the stereo headphones are disconnected). Temporary files If the sound streaming is requested by the user, the gateway will generate temporary files in the sandbox directory of the Operating System.
